Support Breast Cancer Awareness

Recap of Our Last Walk at the Making Strides Cancer Walk

Our recent experience at the Making Strides Cancer Walk at Red Rock Casino was truly memorable, especially since it was the first time I brought my son along for this meaningful event. The atmosphere was filled with hope and determination as participants gathered to support a cause that touches so many lives.

Special Moments

  • Seeing the community come together to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research.

  • Watching my son engage with other participants and learn about the importance of supporting those affected by cancer.

  • Sharing stories and experiences with fellow walkers, which made the event even more impactful.

  • My daughter who has joined me since she was 11 and now she is 21. You can't miss her she is bright magenta hair. Always one of my biggest supporters.

My Experience with Booths

In the past, I have had a booth at the Making Strides event, but I really do prefer to be waking with everyone. Being part of the walk itself allowed me to connect more personally with the cause. It was heartwarming to see the support from everyone involved, and I felt proud to participate in such a vital initiative.

This year I did join the launch party, I hear beautiful stories from powerful women. Can't help to cry when I hear their battles.

Looking Forward

Overall, this walk was not just an event; it was a chance to bond with my son and instill in him the values of compassion and community service. I look forward to participating in more events like this in the future, continuing to support the fight against cancer and sharing these experiences with my family.
