Fibroblast Therapy aka Plasma Pen
We receive many questions regarding Fibroblast....we are here to help answer them:
What is Fibroblast?
Speaking in terms of anatomy, fibroblast is the most common connective tissue. It secrete collagen proteins that are used to maintain a structural framework for many tissues. As we age, our collagen production decreases therefore contributing to wrinkles and sagging.
How does Fibroblast therapy work?
Fibroblast is an absolute revolutionary procedure which requires zero surgery. It is a non-surgical, non-invasive treatment that is designed to tighten and lift the skin, shrinking excess skin, crow's feet, acne scars, sun spots, bags and wrinkles. It delivers tiny arcs of plasma created by an electrical discharge via a “plasma pen” to the skin, singeing the surface and tightening the underlying tissue.
Does it hurt?
We do apply numbing to the area however that does not mean you won't feel a thing. Most clients rate the pain level as a minimal for the larger areas and medium around the eye area.
How long is the healing process?
You will start noticing the small dots start to fall off between day 4-7 after the procedure. Full heal is 12 weeks from procedure.
When will I see results?
If you have deep wrinkles or creasing, you will notice a difference right away and will continue to see tightening as you are healing.
